Crying baby on board!

The other day my 4mos old daughter begin to cry on the way home from the grocery store. Let me give you a little back round information about my daughter. She hates no -  despises her car seat. So much so that I don’t call it her car seat. I call it her arch enemy. She has the mirror , she has the toys  she does not care she wants OUT. While driving home siting at a red light. ( while the people in the next car over shook their heads ar me. As my daughter wails so loud you can hear her with the window up. I thought to myself – Hmm !   Someone needs to invent a BABY CRYING SIREN –
It would be genius!
the baby crying siren would  alert other cars to move out of the way there’s a crying baby in the car behind  you. It could be purple , green, pink for girls, Blue for boys. Oh ! maybe there could be a cheetah colored one. Instead of the Wee ooh, wee ooh, wee sound. There could be a sound of a baby crying whaaaa whaawhaaa. All moms with this siren would receive special police horn announcement and police assistance.  I can hear the police now over the blow horn “move outta the way mom with  crying baby on board. Bleep” .
Only in a perfect world I guess. Any mother that has had a screaming baby in the car with her while she is driving knows what I am talking about. You feel so helpless and guilty. We must keep our children in car seats for safety. No if , and , or buts about that. Until this siren has been invented I guess I will have to keep pulling over  jumping out of the car getting the baby out nurse for 10 minutes gently put her back into the seat. Drive for 5 minutes. Pull back over get her out the seat feed her , gently put her back into the seat and drive.Until then a trip to the store will take me 4 hours.

I will be writing to my local congressmen to get this on the ballot.

MOMS Need sirens too! #mominmelife

5 Reasons why you should be a Silly mom

5 Reasons Why you should be a silly MOM

Our Job as mothers can stressful at times. Our attitudes most times don’t model the way we expect our children to act. We become overwhelmed with all the demands and request that are anticipated. As moms we sometimes forget how to have fun and just be happy. So with that in mind here are 5 reasons to be a silly mom.

1. Every minute that passes turns into the past.
You will never have today again! Utilize the time you have with your kids and make every moment a memorable one,

2. Come out of the mom shell.
WE spend too much time in there anyway. Be just YOU for a change. Look at some pictures of your younger self. Share the pictures with your kids. I’m sure there's one or two you’ll find that will make you ask the question yourself (what was i thinking?)

3. Model Life -Silliness and laughing daily.
Sing out loud a song that you love! Dance with your kids!
It’s so important to get in a silly joke or laugh each day. It really makes a difference!

4. Don't be so serious.
Remember that movie Batman that part when the joker asked "why so serious?"
Yeah! why are we so serious?
Adults are viewed by children as being boring, sad and upset all the time. Show your children their mom accept  the not so good parts of being adults with a smile and a tongue stuck out - Ready for anything

5. A mother’s happiness directly impacts her children’s lives-
Studies have proven that happy mothers makes for a happy home. Children that view and experience happiness in their home environment are naturally happy.

So here are the top 5 Reasons to be a silly mom. People may think you are crazy when you sing out loud. But, HAY people most likely think that anyway! PLAY.LAUGH.ENJOY being a mom.
I am speaking from experience. Although I suffer mom related illness such as mom-me fatigue and dehydration. I still smile -drink 1 glass of water and cluck out in my bed at night.
A Happy camper  - I Wouldn't have it any other way.
I’m all about that mom-me Life! I love all 6!

My Medal Please for 126 months of my life devoted to my children.

9 months of pregnancy X 6 kids = 54 months of my life. I have been pregnant for 54 months of life ! What! My medal Please!

Not including breast feeding 6 kids X 12 months = 72 months

Lets do the math below :

72 months of nursing + 54 months of pregnancy = 126 months of my life.

Can we have an Olympics for moms ?

Mom-me the Fixer

I am a Mom-me Fixer. Which means: MOM+ME=Fixer of everything

I love the television show Scandal. I sat down over the weekend to watch some reruns. The thought came to my mind, that as a mom I have the same job as Olivia Pope. Minus the wardrobe and fresh hair style.

I receive no compensation for my services. The clients (my children) have never ending problems such as:

A science fair project that needs an hypothesis, Barbie’s missing shoe, Batteries for the remote, Conference calls and apologizes for my son for  hitting the teacher in the Bum with a small eraser. (He was aiming for the kid next to her). I fix clogged sinks and toilets, Hungry tummies, wardrobe malfunction, and Missing Lego man heads. I even take the blame for late school arrivals.
The list could continue on for days, weeks even months.

The end result is that as a mom-me fixer, i wear many hats.  Sometimes I Cry, sometimes I laugh and sometimes I hide out in the bathroom.

But being mom -ME is my job and I love it!

Hopefully, I will receive some compensation when they move out. Wishful thinking I know -

In the mean time I will settle for unlimited HUGS.
